ABOUT THE TEAM
International Controllership team of VTEX is responsible for preparing IFRS accounting and managing local GAAP accounting of all the VTEX entities outside Brazil; local audits in some the countries; and improve processes that may impact the VTEX financial statements.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an International Controllership Senior Analyst, you will act as part of the International Controllership area, focused in the European entities, identifying processes for improvement, proposing corrective actions, working on the validation of the financial statements, ensuring compliance with audit standards; participate in the accounting closing as well as the review of monthly financial statements in order to ensure the correct reflection of the company’s economic and financial situation; review the accounting information and help with the preparation of reports (specific and occasional) with explanations and/or interpretations of the results and changes occurred in the period, aiming to support the decision-making process; ensure that tax calculations performed by the tax team are correctly reflected in the accounting records; communicate with outsourced offices that carry out local GAAP accounting to ensure that government requirements are being met; prepare the financial statement explanatory notes; participate in the accounting process of acquisition of subsidiaries; Ensure SOX compliance in accordance with established internal flows.
WHO YOU ARE
You must be fluent in English, and Spanish is a differencial;
You need to be graduated in accounting, business administration, economics, production engineering or related areas;
You must be experienced at least 5 years in finance;
You must have IFRS accounting standards knowledge;
You must have team work spirit, work well under pressure, communication, organization, logical reasoning and Interest in learning new tools or languages when necessary;
You might have international experience (is a differential);
You might have a Master´s degree in Financials matters (is a differential)
