ABOUT THE ROLE

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Participate and engage in corporate strategy on a global level
• Provide in-house assistance on a wide variety of legal fields, such as Corporate Affairs, Labor and Litigation;
• Research about relevant legal issues in Brazil, LATAM, Europe and US;
• Provide support in exchanges with external law firms;
• Provide support in administrative tasks such as coordination of shipments, collection of signatures, management of external service providers and others;
• Manage judicial and extrajudicial procedures and notifications throughout all VTEX Group Companies;
• Draft, review and organize corporate documents;
• Conduct various legal projects and other duties as assigned.

As a Legal Intern, you will be in contact with different teams inside VTEX and will have the opportunity to provide outside the box legal solutions on a very dynamic work environment.

ABOUT THE TEAM

VTEX’s Legal Team is composed by high efficiency professionals who tackle legal issues throughout the globe for all VTEX Group Companies, including Brazil, LATAM, Europe, and US. Its routine involves handling with a wide range of legal areas, such as Corporate Affairs, Labor, Litigation, Intellectual Property, M&A, Contracts and Data Privacy, according to each individual work group. 

WHO YOU ARE:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Law in a Brazilian university (from 6th to 8th semester).
• Have fluency and excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, in both speaking and writing (Spanish will be considered a bonus!);
• Attention to details and have a high sense of quality;
• Organized and self-motivated to work in an environment with great autonomy;
• Flexible and able to perform well under pressure;
• Have basic knowledge on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite.
