Product Marketing Manager


About the role

As Product Marketing Manager you will be the glue that binds our product strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing and achieve results. You know our competitors like the back of your hand and you know our buyers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions. This isn’t guesswork. You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning, messaging, and marketing programs that resonate with buyers and empower our sales channels to be successful.

Attention to detail and an eye for quality are critical to your success, along with an ability to grasp and present our product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our buyers’ problems. You will regularly collaborate with product managers and sales channels to develop innovative programs that improve sales and marketing effectiveness and drive demand.

What you will do

  • Work closely with sales and product teams to develop go-to-market strategy and playbooks that enable teams across the globe to market VTEX’s products — from demand-generation to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Research and use data to inform messaging and positioning of our products for different markets, personas, and industries. 
  • Conduct market analysis to have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiation.
  • Lead and be accountable for product launches, from establishing phased roadmap with product, to planning, executing, and enabling all regional marketing, sales, and CX teams. 
  • Educate both internal and external stakeholders on our positioning, buyers, users and influencers’ needs, our product capabilities, and its benefits. 
  • Create marketing programs and sales collateral (e.g. sales documentation, decks, product videos, website copy, blog posts) that articulate the benefits of our products and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycle.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS product marketing.
  • Extensive experience with product marketing applied to mid to enterprise-level B2B SaaS.
  • Proven track record and hands-on experience with leading and coordinating initiatives across product and sales & marketing organizations. 
  • Craft obsession and deeply care about consistency, tone of voice, and look-and-feel of our brand. 
  • Proficiency in written communication with an ear for ‘voice’ and an eye for grammar/spelling.
  • Metrics-driven and analytical; proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results.
  • Systemic thinking to provide simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Great communication skills to talk about our work, product, and industry in an engaging and easy to understand way.
  • Digital commerce experience preferred.
