Staff Product Manager, Identity



We seek a Senior Product Manager to spearhead the VTEX Identity product charter, which manages all access in the VTEX platform. As a Senior PM, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our Identity solutions. You will be in charge of complex challenges with visible risks and non-obvious trade-offs and constraints.


  • Define and Drive Identity Product Strategy
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of market needs, customer pain points, and industry trends in the Identity/Access Management space
  • Lead the prioritization and roadmap planning process and enhancements, balancing short-term business objectives with long-term strategic goals
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams. Partner closely with engineering, design, operations, sales, and marketing teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive execution
  • Lead Product Development and Delivery
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch
  • Drive the execution of high-quality products and features, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives
  • Sets accurate expectations (and re-sets them if needed), clearly and frequently communicates progress, and brings visibility to blockers and outcomes to managers & stakeholders
  • Proactively identifies key stakeholders and anticipates their needs. Builds alignment with stakeholders both within and outside the Tech organization
  • Ownership of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Documents and Reporting for the Identity team


  • You have a solid track record building technical products
  • Ability to create a vision and rally an organization around it, with experience in driving innovation to discover new values and experiences
  • Able to lead discussions with cross-functional teams, adapt quickly to changes, and collaborate with other teams
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to operate in a complex, enterprise-scale environment
  • Extensive knowledge of software development, system implementation, and product lifecycles
  • Ability to take an integrated view of concurrent projects that cross-team and domain boundaries
  • Partner with managers of design and engineering teams to ensure focus on fit-for-purpose solutions, and drive efficient delivery of the right outcomes for the customer and organization
